Copy the “NHL 2004” file from the NHL2004v1.04NoCDFixedexeEng folder, paste it into c:/nhl 04 or wherever you installed the game. It might hang a little at the end so be patient.

Click OK and the install should finish up. Open “cd2” folder and then open the IMAGE file again. Right click your F: drive (or whichever drive you mounted the file on) and click EJECT. I don’t remember exactly what it is, something like java. Make sure you install the necessary graphics update it’s telling you it needs. I didn’t install online components, do it at your own risk. Title it something like “nhl 04” and MAKE SURE YOU INSTALL THE GAME INTO THIS DIRECTORY.

Open the drive, scroll down to “install” and run it as administrator. It should now be mounted in your (F:) drive. Open “cd1” folder then open “IMAGE” (CCD) file.
